<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell which can effectively control a cross-leak phenomenon between a polymer electrolyte membrane and a frame body and can achieve a high production yield. <P>SOLUTION: In the fuel cell in which an electrode layer is arranged on both surfaces of a polymer electrolyte membrane and a plurality of unit cell modules composed of the electrode layer pinched by a pair of separators are laminated, a frame body pinching a circumferential portion of the electrolyte membrane has a concavo-convex structure along the circumferential portion of the electrolyte membrane, and a convex portion of the frame body is arranged in a corresponding position through the electrolyte membrane in a concave portion of the frame body, and an elastic member is arranged in the concave portion of the frame body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
