METHOD FOR RECOVERING LIGNIN AND CELLULOSE FROM WASTE OF WOODY COMPOSITE COMPOSITED WITH ADHESIVE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recovering cellulose and lignin from a waste of such a woody composite composited with an adhesive as a veneer and a laminated lumber.

SOLUTION: The recovery of cellulose and lignin is carried out by the followings: after crushing the waste of the woody composite composited with the adhesive by a crusher, bringing the crushed product to have at most 10 cm of the maximum diameter, the crushed product is soaked in water; thereafter the product soaked in water is soaked in an alkali solution and is finely crushed by fine vibration caused by ultrasonic waves (cavitation effect) by irradiating the waves thereto; and then the cellulose and the lignin are recovered through separation and elution, respectively.
