<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component recognition method in an electronic-component mounting device that achieves improvement in productivity of an electronic-component mounting device by preventing image processing errors associated with a brightness difference. <P>SOLUTION: In a step S2, an image of an electronic component 25 is obtained as a gray value by an imaging device 70. In a step S3, a blob is obtained by binarizing the gray value on the basis of a threshold. In a step S4, the blob and a reference blob are compared with each other so as to determine whether the image processing result is normal or abnormal. In a step S8, when determined that the image processing result is abnormal and determined by a worker that the electronic component 25 is normal, the threshold and the blob are corrected. In a step S9, a reference threshold and the reference blob are calculated on the basis of the corrected threshold and the corrected blob so as to store the reference threshold and the reference blob. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
