<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar antenna element capable of omitting or reducing an element for adjusting a frequency. <P>SOLUTION: The planar antenna element includes: a spiral and planar antenna pattern 110; and parallel resonance patterns 121-124 arranged in the upper layer of the antenna pattern 110 and performing capacitive coupling between a part positioned on a relatively inner peripheral side and a part positioned on a relatively outer peripheral side in the antenna pattern 110. Consequently, the parallel resonance patterns 121-124 give a frequency adjustment function to the antenna element itself, thereby omitting or reducing the element for adjusting the frequency. Besides, since the parallel resonance patterns perform the capacitive coupling between the part positioned on the inner peripheral side and the part positioned on the outer peripheral side in the antenna pattern, the outer shape of the antenna element is not enlarged. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
