<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a target for ground displacement measurement which does not easily topple and does not cause wetting even when a ground to be subjected to displacement measurement is a liquified ground or an unstable ground which causes a large-scale deformation. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The target is driven into the ground under measurement when ground displacement is measured by an image analysis technique. The target includes a spherical target body 1 and a stand 3 for supporting the target body. The stand has a hollow, cylindrical member 3a as a body, with its lower end open and with its upper end blocked by a lid part 3b, on which the target body is mounted. The outside dimensions of the lid part are made larger than the diameter of the target body and functions as a wetting prevention cover. A large number of drainage holes 4 are formed on the peripheral surface at least of the upper part of the cylindrical member.
