摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring system along a railway line capable of grasping an integrity of a whole monitoring sensor including an action of a sensor means such as a falling sensor, an inclination sensor, etc. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The system is constructed of an inclination sensor 20 for detecting a posture change to output detection information, a transmitting circuit 50 for making the detection information as a first trigger to transmit a signal for a low frequency magnetic field having an inherent frequency output, a monitoring sensor 10 having a transmitting coil 60 excited by the output of the transmitting circuit and transmitting a low frequency magnetic field signal, and a control device having a receiving coil for the low frequency magnetic field signal and an analyzing device of the frequency of the received signal, and identifies by frequency analysis a posture change of the plurality of monitoring sensors. A normal action of the monitoring sensor is confirmed by detecting the low frequency magnetic field signal output by a posture change from the monitoring sensor at a fixed period, by providing a timer circuit 30 for outputting a second trigger at a fixed period to the monitoring sensor and a driving device 40 for imparting a posture change to the inclination sensor only by a certain period by a second trigger output and making the inclination sensor detect the posture change.
