PURPOSE: A food waste collecting device to charge the taxes at the weight of the waste is provided to reduce the food waste by charging the taxes depending on the weight of the food waste. CONSTITUTION: A food waste collecting device includes a main body, a cover, a cover fastening unit, a collection box fastening unit, a card recognizer, a scale, and a control unit. The main body(10) has an accommodation space formed to accommodate the food waste. The cover(20) is connected to the main body via a pivot axis(201) on top of the main body to open and close the accommodation space(101) of the main body. The cover fastening unit locks the cover with the main body to maintain the state where the cover shuts tightly the accommodation space of the main body. The card recognizer(60) is installed outside the cover. The scale(70) checks the weight of the food waste in the food waste collection box. The control unit controls to unlock the cover fastening unit of the food waste collecting device when the card recognizer receives the payment. The control unit(80) controls to lock the collection box fastening unit when the food waste collection box returns to the initial position. |
