<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing device for a wheel easy in machining a rotary bearing ring and a drive shaft and easy in inspecting the machining accuracy of the machined rotary bearing ring and drive shaft. <P>SOLUTION: This rolling bearing device 1 for a wheel includes an inner ring 12 of a rolling bearing attached to a wheel, and the drive shaft 10 attached to the inner ring 12. The inner ring 12 and drive shaft 10 are formed with key grooves 12a, 10d, and also a key 17 is provided in order to be engaged with the key grooves 12a, 10d formed in the inner ring 12 and drive shaft 10. The key 17 is inserted into a space formed by the key groove 12a formed in the inner ring 12 and the key groove 10d formed in the drive shaft 10. Thereby, the key 17 is engaged with both the key groove 12a formed in the inner ring 12 and the key groove 10d formed in the drive shaft 10, and the drive shaft 10 is locked and attached to the inner ring 12 through the key 17. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
