<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice ball making device with which a rice ball having steady outside and airy inside like those of a hand-made one is easily formed, which does not cause damage such as kneading of rice on the rice ball, and which easily and reliably forms a filling hole. <P>SOLUTION: The device works through: a process (A) of supplying boiled rice P in a supply mechanism 25; a process B of fraying the boiled rice P in a fray mechanism 25a; and a process C of dividing the boiled rice P in a dividing mechanism 24. In the device, one divided side in the dividing process C includes: a main measuring process D of using a main measuring part 11 measuring part of the target value of the weight of the boiled rice P; a pre-forming process E of using the pre-forming part 12 of the measured boiled rice P; and an ingredient supply process F in an ingredient supply mechanism 15 after the pre-forming process E. Another divided side in the dividing process C includes an auxiliary measuring process G with an auxiliary measurement part 13 measuring the remaining amount of the weight of the boiled rice P, and an ingredient-enclosing/forming process H of enclosing the boiled rice P measured in the auxiliary measuring process G with the boiled rice P obtained after the ingredient supply process F to block the filling hole. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
