<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid an event that electric equipment which uses a precharge circuit cannot be driven by improving the safety rate of the precharge circuit. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The precharge circuit 40 is equipped with a precharge switch 41 provided in a main circuit 30 and a resistor section 42. The main circuit 30 is equipped with a first switch 31 which is disposed between a battery 13 and a smoothing capacitor 33 and is capable of electrically connecting the battery 13 and the smoothing capacitor 33 as well as canceling the electric connection between the battery 13 and the smoothing capacitor 33. The precharge switch 41 and the resistor section 42 are provided in parallel to the first switch 31, and the precharge switch 41 and the resistor section 42 are connected in series.
