METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING DEVELOPMENT ROLLER, DEVELOPING DEVICE, AND IMAGE FORMING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a development roller for achieving uniform depth of groove in a groove pattern and to provide a developing device and an image forming device capable of eliminating unevenness in shading and achieving high quality of image.

SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing the development roller comprises a first rolling process for applying rolling on an image forming area A of a columnar or cylindrical pipe member 600 by projecting parts of a pair of dies by rotating the pair of dies while sandwiching the pipe member 600 in between the pair of dies and pressing it and a second rolling process for setting a rolling position S2 and a rolling position E2 to positions deviated on an outer side in the axial direction more than those in the first rolling process and pressing the groove 680' formed on a surface of the pipe member 600 by the projecting parts of the pair of dies again to apply rolling.
