<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pan head system for enabling an additional microphone other than a microphone installed on a pan head in a simple system, near a shooting place (near a relay box) where the pan head is disposed, by providing the relay box arranged near the pan head with a terminal to be connected to the additional microphone, and effectively using an audio signal captured by the additional microphone. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The relay box 14 is provided with a pan head connector 30 to be connected to the pan head 10 by a cable, and a video signal and an audio signal from a television camera and the microphone mounted on the pan head 10 are received from the pan head connector 30. The relay box 14 is provided with a microphone connector 38 to connect the microphone, and the microphone 50 is connected to the microphone connector 38 so that an audio signal can be received from the microphone 50 instead of the microphone of the pan head 10.
