<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve fuel economy without impairing feeling during braking operation in a disk brake device for a vehicle. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In this disk brake device for a vehicle, a pressing member (a piston 13) presses each brake pad 14, thereby each brake pad 14 is slidably brought into pressure contact with the braked surface 11a of a disk rotor 11 to brake the disk rotor 11. An air injection hole AH injecting pressurized air toward the braked surface 11a of the disk rotor 11, and an air passage AL communicating with the air injection hole AH, are formed in each brake pad 14. Meanwhile, an air introducing passage PAo introducing the pressurized air into the air passage AL is provided outside each brake pad 14.
