摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting structure of propulsion pipes, capable of surely preventing breakage of an end surface of a propulsion pipe during construction, and a cushion material used therefor. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The cushion material 5 used for the connecting structure of propulsion pipes 1 and 1' in jacking method comprises a resin foam-made cushion material 4 interposed between the rear end of the precedent propulsion pipe 1 and the top end of the following propulsion pipe 1', and a cushion material interposed at least between this cushion material and the rear end of the precedent propulsion pipe 1, which has a compression strength larger than a compression stress based on propelling force in an axial length direction, and a sharing strength smaller than the tensile strength of the propulsion pipe in a direction orthogonal thereto.
