The method involves providing a sequence of lights (12a, 12b, 12c) in a holding position for a transport unit, and providing a controller for controlling the lights, where a signal receiver is coupled with the controller. Signals are sent to be announced at the holding position when arrival of the transport unit is communicated to the signal receiver. Emission of a part of the light is changed by emission of a control signal via the controller in response to the sent signals. The lights are integrated in a floor and/or a wall.
