PURPOSE: A system and a method for determining adult contents are provided to supply an image processing method and procedure for censor ship for adult contents such as image, moving picture. CONSTITUTION: A system for determining adult contents comprises a skin index determination unit(104) and an adult index determination unit(106). The skin index is determined based on the adult image correlation for collected input image from a target material, and the adult index is determined by using the skin index and a text adult index. Adult contents are determined based on the adult index.
