<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position sensorless drive controller for a synchronous motor in which a high efficiency driving state can be reached quickly. <P>SOLUTION: A motor control section 120 comprises a section 123 for detecting a current phase difference between a target current phase and a detected current phase, and a section 125 for controlling the amplitude of a voltage being applied to a motor 12 such that the current phase difference being detected at the phase difference detecting section 123 becomes 0. In other words, a synchronous motor 12 is controlled by phase difference control with reference to the current phase. Consequently, a phase lag can be detected easily because the target current phase crosses zero before zero-cross of the detected current is detected and high efficiency driving state can be reached quickly. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
