The container has an outlet (11) formed in a transition region between a container neck (3) and a receiving region (4) and projecting outwards to the receiving region. A base (5) is provided with a recess (15) that is accessible from outside. The recess is axially extended in a direction of a container opening (8). A lateral surface (6) is extended directly up to a peripheral edge (14) of the base and provided with a coating (7) that is separately applied and extended directly to the peripheral edge, where the container is made of plastic.
