Finger protector for a sports glove

The protector has a flat plastic plate (10) connected with longitudinal strips (12), which are associated with fingers of a hand. Each strip has elements (20) integrally connected with each other and moved in two opposite directions. A tensioning unit is provided for bending of the strips. The strip elements have guiding sections (32), by which the tensioning unit is drawn. The tensioning unit has a filament running in a longitudinal direction of the strips, where the filament is made of inflexible or little flexible material.
