PURPOSE: A lifeboat which is automatically separated when a ship is in distress is provided to automatically separate a lifeboat from a ship during ship flood, thereby protecting life of boat crews sleeping in the lifeboat. CONSTITUTION: A lifeboat which is automatically separated when a ship is in distress comprises the following units. A sleeping room in which a ship crew can sleep is installed inside a ship. The sleeping room has a sealed dome shape. A main body(1) in which a door is installed in one side of the sleeping room. Outside can be seen through a glass window(4) from a side and an upper part of the main body. A crew can escape through an exit(3) during an emergent situation. A plurality of tow hooks(5) is installed in an upper part of the main body.
