Torque sensor by axial displacement

The torque sensor has a torsion bar (3) with two sides (1,2), which are rotated against each other by a torque resting against the torque sensor, through a mechanical coupling device between two sides of the torsion bar. The mechanical coupling device has a movement element (4), which is moved by a twist of the former side against the latter side in axial direction. A measuring device (17) is provided for the measurement of the axial movement of the movement element. An independent claim is included for a drive system, particularly for the control surfaces of an airplane.
