PURPOSE: An LED module and a backlighting device using an led module are provided to prevent damage to the LED by protecting a foreign material flowed into the inside by making the LED module as a hollow pipe structure. CONSTITUTION: An LED module is composed of a case(100), a power supply line(20), a substrate(30), at least one LED, and a first hollow pipe(50). The case is opened to upward, and openings(11a,11b) and the first pipe mountings(13a,13b) are installed at both side of the case. The one side of the power supply line is led to the opening. The other side of power supply line is lead to the opening, and the substrate is fixed at the opened top of the case.
