The roof (1) has a control part movable at a roof-sided guide, and controlling a position of a cover (2) relative to a connecting rod path. The cover is movable between a closed position and an opened position using a supporting device. The control part engages with the connecting rod path for controlling a movement of the cover for a ventilating position. A coupling lever couples the cover with a drive carriage in an operating position. The movement of the cover is controlled for an opened condition.
