SHAPE EXAMINATION METHO FOR THE GLASS PANEL HAVING AN INCLINE

PURPOSE: A shape examination method for a glass panel with an incline is provided to measure the thickness and the shape of the glass panel precisely and inspect the glass panel in which an upper side and a lower side are not parallel. CONSTITUTION: A shape examination method for a glass panel with an incline comprises following steps. In a first step, an incident light(L1) is irradiated on a glass panel at constant angle(&thgr;1). A third spot(S3) by first reflection light(L2) and a fourth spot(S4') by a second reflection light(L3') are formed in a screen(60). The screen is arranged to be parallel to the incident light irradiated in the glass panel. The separation distance(D) between the second reflection light and the third reflection light is calculated in case the upper side(G1) and the lower side(G2) of the glass panel are parallel. A wedge angle(α) is calculated by using the calculated separation distance.
