PURPOSE: An optical fiber cable with high waterproof property is provided to improve the reliability of the waterproof property by preventing the disconnection by minimizing the tension stress. CONSTITUTION: One tension line(27) or more are positioned in an optical fiber cable. An optical fiber unit(21) includes one core or more. One buffer tube(22) or more surround the optical fiber unit. A sheath(24) surrounds the one buffer tube and the tension line. The optical cable includes waterproof yarn(31) with waterproof powder. The thickness of the waterproof is between 1500 and 6000 denier. The tension strength of the waterproof yarn is between 5 and 100 kgf.
