PURPOSE: A hinge device with a damping function is provided to additionally supply a rotation force in a direction opposite to a direction in which the hinge device automatically rotates, thereby slowly moving when a folder type portable phone automatically rotates. CONSTITUTION: A hinge device with a damping function includes the first rotating unit, the second rotating unit, the first elastic member, and the second elastic member. The first rotating unit(20) has the first contact unit and is connected rotatably with the first unit. The second rotating unit(25) has the second contact unit and is connected rotatably with the second unit. One of the first contact unit(30) and the second contact unit(60) has a cam unit formed along with a columnar direction of a rotation shaft line(100).
