PURPOSE: A chemical end rounding method of a filament and a brush manufacturing method are provided, which use chemical method without using mechanical method. CONSTITUTION: A chemical end rounding method of a filament includes a step to obtain an end-rounded filament by dipping one end of the filament(1) in the chemical end rounding processing liquid(2) selected from alkaline solution, acid solution, and phenol in a depth of 0.5-10mm. A manufacturing method of a brush includes: a chemical rounding step which makes an end part of the brush rounded using chemical treatment solution for first due time; and a chemical sharpening step to make the end part of the brush hair sharp using chemical treatment solution for second due time.
