PURPOSE: An OBU system which can be communicated with an external device is provided to implement an external interface which can be easily communicated with an external device such as a computer in an OBU, thereby easily realizing program or data upgrade of the OBU. CONSTITUTION: An OBU system which can be communicated with an external device includes an OBU(100) having a wireless communication module, a card socket and a controller and a communication interface card. An electronic cash card(200) is detachably mounted on a card socket(130). The controller(120) communicates with a wireless communication device of a tollgate on a road through the wireless communication module. Road toll is paid based on information of the electronic cash card mounted on the card socket. |
