METHOD FOR SURGICAL CORRECTION OF ACHALASIA OF ESOPHAGUS WITH PROPHYLAXIS OF INSUFFICIENCY OF CARDIA

A method for the surgical correction of achalasia of esophagus with prophylaxis of the insufficiency of cardia provides for the combined fundoplication. The fundus of the stomach is mobilized, the abdominal division of the esophagus is separated from the adjacent tissues and taken by the holders, the crura of diaphragm are sewed, around the esophagus the combined fundoplication cuff is generated of anterior and posterior walls of the stomach. 3-4 stitches are applied to the crura of diaphragm, the sutures are tied up in turn narrowing the esophageal hiatus of diaphragm. The suture filaments are not cut. The posterior fundocrurorrhaphy involving anterior and posterior walls of the fundus of stomach is performed with the left row of uncut filaments. The sutures are tied up and the filaments are cut. The upper sutures are used for anterior fundocrurorrhaphy.
