METHOD FOR SAMPLING BONE AUTOBLOCKS FROM ILIAC CREST

A method for sampling the bone autoblocks from the iliac crest provides for the general endotracheal narcosis and the infiltration anesthesia of the soft tissues of donor and recipient sites, the cut in the area of the iliac crest, and the saw cut of the bone. The oblique osteotomy is performed along the iliac crest on the side opposite to the defect sparing the most prominent contours of this bone structure, namely anterior-posterior iliac spine.
