A method for controlling the efficacy of the treatment of the patients with the acute myocardial infarction and postinfarctional cardiosclerosis with angiotensin-converting enzyme Perindopryl provides for recording the cardiologic parameters in the course of the treatment and comparing them. The content of angiotensin-converting enzyme is assayed. The decrease in the content of angiotensin-converting enzyme by 30% after three-month therapy is indicative of its efficacy.
