The invention relates to pharmaceutical composition or dietary supplement for the activation оf the іmmune system essentially consisting of: (і) an extract of Panax ginseng; (ii) vitamin С and vitamin E; (iii) selenium; (iv) optionally one or more minerals selected from copper and zinc; (v) optionally arginine; and (vi) a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
