PURPOSE: A TCP/IP network management system and a method thereof are provided to measure the interface ping when a network failure is sensed. CONSTITUTION: A TCP/IP network management method comprises the following steps of: measuring the general ping and real-time data at predetermined regular time intervals based on the basic data of a management target device(S800); analyzing the general ping and real-time data to sense the failure of a network(S820); measuring the interface ping between management target devices related to the network failure(S860); and determining the type of failure by analyzing the interface ping(S870).
