The invention relates to underground mining, in particular to underground gasification of solid fuel. A method for coal seam ignition includes drilling of inclined-horizontal wells in coal seam, placement of pipe in blast well and formation of reaction zone at joint of coal face of well and unloaded zone of reaction channel of gas generator. As ignition material one uses binary highly inflammable charge that is transported by pipe under pressure of 0.4-1.2 MPa at rate of 42-50 m/min to ignition chamber of coal seam (joint of well and reaction channel) where under effect of blast charges are deformed, inert substances are mixed, ignited and burn at temperature of 850-1600° C in the presence of air with formation of reaction zone of coal seam ignition. The technological and ecological safety is provided. |
