FIELD: physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: laboratory unit for thermodynamics is meant for use in lessons on "Engineering thermodynamics" and "Heat engineering" subjects. A cylindrical case with a bottom is made from brass and is placed vertically. Inside the case on the axis there is a pipe with an upper confuser, containing an electrical heater, flow mixer and a thermocouple. A laboratory transformer and a wattmeter are placed outside the case. The case has a circular cavity, formed by outer and inner walls, open at the top and filled with water with melting ice, and a water outlet tap. The inner pipe is made from glass with an open and narrowed bottom part and placed on a wire support at the base of the case. The flow mixer is placed after the electric heater and is a disc with openings made from mica. ^ EFFECT: more accurate measurement of air flow rate and reduced errors of experiments. ^ 1 dwg |
