FIELD: instrument making. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of friction items, in particular to brake pads of drum brakes in vehicles. Friction item is equipped with openings for rivets installed in rows on both sides from plane of item symmetry at the same distance from plane of item symmetry. Ratio between distance from opening centres to plane of item symmetry and difference of maximum and minimum thickness of item in zone of its working surface makes from 6 to 26. ^ EFFECT: invention provides for better operational characteristics of pad with varioys thickness due to optimisation of stresses that occur in pad in process of operation. ^ 2 cl, 2 dwg |
