#CMT# #/CMT# The method involves carrying out authentication of a security entity based on authentication parameters stored in the security entity, using an authentication unit of a terminal. A secure contactless connection i.e. near field communication, is established between the terminal and the security entity. Security data e.g. cryptographic key, stored in the security entity is received by a receiver of the terminal, during the secure contactless connection of the terminal and the security entity. #CMT# : #/CMT# Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a secure usage terminal comprising an authentication unit (2) a security entity storing security data, comprising an authentication unit. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Method for managing secure usage of a terminal cooperated with a security entity (all claimed) that is used as a user card, in a secure communication network. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The secure contactless connection i.e. near field communication, is established between the terminal and the security entity, thus reducing energy consumption of the terminal and guaranteeing the security level associated to the utilization of the terminal so as to permit the utilization of the terminal only in the presence of the security entity.
