Test container, test piece, test kit and test method

A test container used in a test method having a step for immersing one end (54) of a test piece (5) into specimen liquid. The test container comprises a container main body (1) having an opening (11) at the upper end and a space (17) communicating with the opening (11) and storing the specimen liquid, and a lid (2) for hermetically covering the opening (11) of the container main body (1) removably. The lid (2) is provided with a test piece fixing portion (33) for holding the test piece (5) in the storage space (17) under such a state as the other end of the test piece (5) is secured removably and the opening (11) of the container main body (1) is hermetically covered by the lid (2).
