The pin (4) has stop units i.e. slits (5, 5'), symmetrically arranged with respect to a center (9) of a base, and extending in a linear manner, where the pin is a divisible pin. The stop units stop a propagation of a fissure/crack/wrench. The stop units occupy 40 degrees from a peripheral end. A cylindrical rectilinear part is fixed on the base forming the peripheral end. An independent claim is also included for a heat exchanger for a motor vehicle.
