<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and thin antenna device capable of receiving or transmitting radio waves in two frequency bands. <P>SOLUTION: The antenna device has: an earth grounding plate 1; a monopole antenna 3; a top capacitance body 5; antenna elements 6; capacitors 8 that are connected between the top capacitance body 5 and the earth grounding plate 1, allow current having UHF band frequencies to flow, and block current having FM band frequencies; and coils 9 that are connected between the top capacitance body 5 and the antenna element 6, block the current having UHF band frequencies, and allow current having FM band frequencies to flow. A UHF antenna includes the monopole antenna 3, the top capacitance body 5, and the capacitors 8.
