<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming machine suppressing deterioration of image quality. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming machine includes: an image carrier for carrying an electrostatic latent image; a developing unit housing a developer of mixing toner and a carrier in an interior, forming a toner image by developing the electrostatic latent image by using the toner in the developer, and discharging the developer from a discharge opening when a housed amount of the developer exceeds a predetermined amount; a first measuring part measuring a toner concentration of the developer housed in the developing unit; a supply part maintaining the toner concentration in the developing unit by mixing the toner with the carrier in response to a measurement result by the first measuring part and supplying it to the developing unit; a second measuring part measuring a concentration of the toner image; and a discharge promotion part promoting discharge from the discharge opening when the measurement result by the first measuring part and a measurement result by the second measuring part deviate from a predetermined interrelation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
