<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner cartridge can suppress an increase in rotation load acting on the rotating shaft of a toner cartridge, without increasing the number of components and cost of the toner cartridge. <P>SOLUTION: Eight ribs 71 extending in the lengthwise direction of the rotating shaft 44 are formed on the internal peripheral face of a third bearing hole 48a at regular intervals in the circumferential direction of the shaft. Each rib 71 is semi-cylindrical and its top has a rounded curved face. Each rib 71 comes into substantially linear contact with the circumferential face of the rotating shaft 44, and supports the rotating shaft 44 such that the rotating shaft 44 stays apart from the internal peripheral face of the third bearing hole 48a. Accordingly, even if toner cakes, with the result that a large rotation load acts on the rotating shaft 44 of a toner stirring member 42, the external circumferential face of the rotating shaft 44 is prevented from being pressed to the internal peripheral face of the third bearing hole 48a and brought into in firm contact with it.
