PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning agent for a silicone lens molding mold and can cleanly remove stains on the surface of the mold without causing deterioration and discoloration of the mold surface, and to provide a method for cleaning a mold for silicone lens molding use by using the cleaning agent. SOLUTION: There are provided a cleaning agent for a mold for silicone lens molding use composed of an aqueous solution containing 0.5-75 mass% tetraalkylammonium hydroxide, and a cleaning method using the cleaning agent.
