<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner protecting a capacitor and a single-phase motor even when voltage is over an allowable voltage of the capacitor, with a simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: This air conditioner has: an air trunk casing 3 having an air suction opening 1 and an air supply opening 2; a heat exchanger 5 disposed in the air trunk casing 3; a blower 6 for distributing the air to the heat exchanger 5 in the air trunk casing 3; the single-phase motor M for driving the blower 6; and the capacitor C connected between feeder wires 7, 8 of the single-phase motor M, and further has: a memorizing means S for memorizing a threshold value relating to voltage between capacitor terminals between the feeder wires 7, 8; a means 22 for detecting the voltage between the capacitor terminals; and a blower control means 25 for controlling the air volume of the blower 6 on the basis of the difference between the detected voltage value between the capacitor terminals and the memorized threshold value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
