<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an increase in the inside temperature of an apparatus without emitting unnecessary noise when not in use, thereby preventing its peripheral components from being affected by it, and to prevent a tacking problem. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: a first heat transfer member (rotation shaft 37a) disposed in or around the fixing roller 37; a second heat transfer member (rotation shaft 35a) disposed in or around a paper ejection roller 35A; and a heat dissipation member (heat sink 51) which, when printing is carried out, is connected to the second heat transfer member 35a and moved apart from the first transfer member 37a, thereby dissipating the heat of the second transfer member 35a, and which, during a standby state, is connected to the first heat transfer member 37a and moved apart from the second heat transfer member 35a of the paper ejection roller 35A, thereby dissipating the heat of the first heat transfer member 37a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
