<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device which is capable of improving contrast on a display surface by preventing reflection on a transparent conductive film formed on the display surface side of a substrate on the display surface side, and to provide an electronic apparatus using the liquid crystal display device. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device 7 has many pixels 12 formed by at least a pair of substrates 20A and 20B facing each other with a liquid crystal layer therebetween and electrodes 23 and 26 for driving liquid crystal molecules of the liquid crystal layer 27. Wherein, a transparent conductive film 32 having an opening 32a for preventing reflection is formed on the display surface side of the substrate 20B on the display surface side out of the pair of substrates 20A and 20B.
