<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide effective and appropriate plenum equipment capable of sealing a cleaning room and functioning as an inflow passage of air without any problems. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The anterior chamber equipment 10 comprises an anterior chamber 11, the cleaning room 12 and a changeroom 13, and the cleaning room 12 is provided with a cleaning device 14 for sucking and removing harmful substances. An airtight door 15 is installed in the front and rear of the cleaning room 12, and the changeroom 13 and the anterior chamber 11 are connected to directly communicate with each other by installing a bypass duct 16. A backflow preventing mechanism 17 is provided in the bypass duct 16. A check valve used as the backflow preventing mechanism 17 is provided with a valve element 18 made of a flexible sheet material, caused to close by its own weight and caused to open by inflow air from the changeroom to the anterior chamber against its own weight.
