PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding part having strength and having high dimensional accuracy, and a timepiece using the same. SOLUTION: An escape wheel 200 is composed of a first metallic layer 221, a second metallic layer 222 and a third metallic layer 223. A material for constituting the second metallic layer 222 is harder than a material for constituting the first and third metallic layers 221 and 223. An outer peripheral surface of the first and third metallic layers 221 and 223 retreats from an outer peripheral surface (an outer peripheral surface of the second metallic layer 222) of the escape wheel 200.
