PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a metal structure by photo-reducing a metal ion, which can more greatly enhance a resolving power in processing than a conventional technology, and more specifically to provide the method which can enhance the resolving power in processing by inhibiting the growth of a metal crystal constituting the metal structure. SOLUTION: This processing method includes: adding a substance which can inhibit the growth of the metal crystal into a medium having the metal ions dispersed therein to inhibit the growth of the metal crystal which is produced by photo-reducing the metal ions; and thereby enhancing the resolving power in the processing of the metal structure formed of the metal crystals.
