<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polylactic acid separation membrane which has improved physical durability so as to withstand separation operations such as filtration, backflow washing and aeration under high pressure and exhibits improved fouling resistance to long-term low fouling. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A block copolymer having the molar ratio of 10:90 to 90:10 of (the repeating units of a polypropylene oxide segment):(those of a polyethylene oxide segment) is blended with polylactic acid as a plasticizer so that the polylactic acid separation membrane has excellent flexibility, improved durability under high pressure and improved fouling resistance to fouling.
